WHAT TO EXPECT

In this workshop, you can expect to learn important topics for each stage of child passenger safety including infant-only seats, rear-facing, forward-facing, and booster seats.

This workshop contains  a comprehensive overview of how to keep child passengers safe in the vehicle every single time from our certified and experienced Child Passenger Safety Technician.

We will discuss important safety considerations and hazards,  installation methods, modes of use, we’ll compare child restraints for each stage, how to ensure a proper fit, what to look for when you’re shopping for a seat, and best practices for child passenger safety.

You will need a phone, tablet, or laptop to access the course. This course will help you with proper use and fit of your existing car seat or booster and/or help you decide before purchasing a seat. 

We recommend that everyone who looks after your baby or child takes this workshop to help them get on board with the importance of child passenger safety.

There are  printable/downloadable Fact sheets at the end of this workshop to help you remember the basics and share with everyone who will have your child or any child in their vehicle for any period of time.

You can access this workshop for 1 year and print or save the included Fact Sheets with an overview of the content.

You will receive a certificate of completion valid 1 year upon completion. We recommend annual renewal because the science behind Child Passenger Safety is constantly evolving.
