A few other points to consider in regards to crash testing and child passenger safety are:

• Car seats are never crash tested post – crash

• always replace a seat that was in the vehicle during any sort of crash, even if the seat was not occupied at the time

• Car seats are never crash tested after they expire

• never use an expired seat
