Voluntary Follow-up Survey: Understanding provider choice within the dayhome sector in Alberta.

In March of 2023 Embolden collaborated with Children's Services on a follow-up survey so they could dive deeper into some of the responses from the December 2022 survey.

On November 15, 2021 the Alberta Child Agreement was signed, promising $10/day subsidies for families using licensed child care and creating 42,500 new licensed child care spaces. As the voice for Alberta’s unlicensed child care sector, Embolden Private Dayhome Community conducted a survey of parents and providers in the unlicensed child care sector about the impact of the $10/day plan. This document summarizes the results from the survey of providers.
